If your club is interested in a Cricket Tour to Menorca…
We enjoy entertaining upwards of 20 touring sides each year and very much hope that your club will also consider a visit to Menorca CC. The following information will provide you with some idea of what to expect and may well answer some of the questions you may have. Once you have decided to visit us, please contact our Fixtures Secretary to discuss possible dates.
The Club plays matches on Saturdays and Sundays during April, May, June, September, and October.
Weekend matches usually comprise of two 40-over innings.
Our grounds are situated in the country setting of Biniparrell, which is about five minute drive from Sant Lluís and only ten minutes away from the seaside resort of S’Algar, where one of the Club’s sponsors can offer you excellent accommodation at special “Cricket Tour” prices. Details are on our site.
Our Clubhouse includes a bar (cash only) and there are changing rooms for the use of visitors.
Whites are worn but please note that players are not allowed to wear spikes or studs of any description – dimpled soled shoes are strongly recommended.
The wicket has an all-weather surface and the outfield is grassed.
There is a match fee of 250 Euros, plus one new ball, per game. Upon confirmation of firm dates for your club, a 25% deposit is required within 30 days, to secure your game. The balance is due before the 31st of December of the previous year, e.g. all match fees for 2021 must be paid by 31st of December 2020. Match fees include refreshments for your scorer and umpire, as well as the players.

Games normally start between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, depending upon the time of the year.
Please check the time that your match(es) start(s) with the club. The ground will be open an hour and a quarter earlier if you want a net.

If you have not visited our Club before, we kindly ask that you bring us any information you can regarding your clubs history, our local English Magazine, the Roqueta, will want to write up your tour to Menorca.
Apart from our Cricket Weeks, when your club visits, it will receive a special trophy; our custom is to present visiting clubs with a small memento on your first visit to Menorca, which we hope will grace your Clubhouse.
